Robin Pitoscia, Owner & Groomer
My passion for animals goes back for as long as I can remember. From a very young age I knew I wanted to work with animals when I “grew up”. I have in the past, or currently own, a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, donkeys, sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys, rats, mice, hamsters, gerbils, cavies, several small parrot species, turtles, anoles, and a ball python (just to name a few).
While studying Animal Sciences at Truman State University in Missouri I took my first grooming apprentice job in 2007, and found my career! Since then I have honed my skills in both private and corporate salons. I have taken classes in the safe handling and management of animals, including the AKC S.A.F.E. Certification program, Fear Free Certification program and Veterinary Technician courses at Duluth Business University. When not working I enjoy spending time with my family, including my pets. I currently own Chinese Crested dogs who all participate in a variety of activities with me, including AKC dog shows, obedience training and many sports. In fact, my girl, Pumpkin (pictured here) is the “original Diva” of Diva Dog Grooming.
I am member of the Duluth Kennel Club, a chairperson with the American Chinese Crested Club, and a supporter of several local, regional, and national pet rescue organizations.
Madalyn Pehoski, Groomer
Madalyn has been grooming professionally for seven years. She is Fear Free and AKC S.A.F.E. Certified. She lives here in Duluth with her husband and their dogs and cats.
Alyssa Suzick, Groomer
Alyssa has been grooming professionally since 2020. She has a love for all pets that come to see her. She is Fear Free Certified. Alyssa lives in Duluth with her husband, her best friend, and her two dog nieces.
Julia Preston, Groomer
Julia has been professionally cutting hair since 2017, when she began her career as a cosmetologist. In 2019, she turned her attention towards professional dog grooming. In 2021, Julia became a grooming mentor and began teaching others how to groom safely and ethically. Julia has been working as a vet assistant at North Shore Veterinary Hospital since 2024 to further her knowledge of animals and expand her level of care for them. Julia became part of our team in 2025 and has been happy to provide her services in both the grooming field and veterinary field. Julia is Fear Free certified, CPR and first aid trained, and has a passion for learning that can never be curbed. She currently lives in Duluth with her best friend, her best friend’s husband, and her two dogs, Honey and Betty.
Shelby Burrow, Bather
Shelby is originally from Arkansas. She graduated from Hendrix College in 2023 with a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology with a focus on human/animal relationships. She enjoys fishing, horseback riding, and spending time with her two Scottish Terriers, Lady Bird and Elliot.
